Hand-held Weapon or Suit Upgrade?: Hand-held
What it looks like: Looks like a hand-gun clip except with a red button on top. It has a glass casing on top so you don't accidentally press the button (it can easily be unlocked and flipped open assuming you have fingers). It also has a small latch on the side so your can connect it to your leg if you have a suit on. It's like maybe 5 inches tall as a whole.
What it does: When you press the button it gives you a bonus life from there on out, untill you die. So, if you happen to die on a mission, once the mission is over you'll automatically be revived again into the room (before the scoring for that mission in which you died on begins), with the same amount of points and unlocked bonus weapons that you had before, aside from this one, of course. Also, any points you earned via alien kills on that mission you died on are also still given to you. Once you activate it, you no longer need the device, and can do whatever you want with it, as it is now useless. However, the bonus life works for anyone. Therefore, if you don't want to use it on yourself, you can have someone else you may know in the Gantz mission press it, and it'll work on them instead. Same applies to Gantzers from other teams, you can give it to them as well.
Also, there's a secret note hidden in the bottom of the device, which actually comes with a description of what this device does. So this way the Gantzer who unlocks it has a reaonable way to know what it does.
Strengths: Brings you back just in case you die, without having to have your current points or weapons reset. Or having to rely on someone else to revive you.
Weaknesses: It doesn't apply if you die outside of a mission. Once you use it you can't ever use it again. Not even if you get the required points to buy a new one. This applies to those who had it given to them.
Requirements to unlock: Getting 100 points for the fourth time. Also, you can't have ever died on a Gantz mission before and have been revived by someone else via the 100 point menu. But that's only in order to get this weapon. If someone else got this weapon and gave it to you to press, even if you have died and been revived before, the bonus life will still work. This is only assuming you haven't used the bonus life already, of course.
