Kyle Ishii realized he hadn't left his apartment in two days. His boss had "jokingly" told him he was tired of seeing Kyle's face and that the young man should work from home for a few days. Kyle didn't know what he did to piss the guy off, but if translating manga from Japanese to English in the comfort of his apartment was supposed to be some kind of punishment, Kyle was happy enough to bear it. Sure, the manga was a sappy romance and not the science-fiction or fantasy he'd prefer, but it beat working in fast food.
Still, he wished that he could fit in at the office more. Most people seemed to like him, some quite a bit, but not a single coworker took him seriously. Why? Because he was born and raised in the U.S.? He didn't think that would be a problem, considering that he spoke perfect Japanese, had a Japanese mother, and had spent the last year in Osaka. More likely, people patronized him because he didn't like to play office politics, wasn't particularly aggressive, and looked more like a 15-year-old than the 22-year-old college graduate that he was.
After finishing his work for the day, Kyle checked his wallet. He had just enough yen for a copy of the latest Weekly Young Jump. Excellent. Kyle slipped on his shoes and left to take a little stroll. As he went out the door, he triple-checked that the lights were all off and the refrigerator door was closed. Can't be too careful anymore.

Tamia found herself once again in the room. The black sphere seemed to be on the fritz. There was no scoring and the doors unlocked. "What the hell? Does this mean......it's over? Like the whole game itself?" Tamia looked around and saw the others. No one knew exactly what was going on but one thing was clear: they can leave for now. Was it a good thing? Maybe. The game could start again at any given time. Tami hated living her life like this. What if gantz called and she was changing clothes? What if she was in school? Tamia had to be on her guard all the time.
Wasting no time Tamia made her way to the door. For now she could go home and rest. Hopefully she would never see any of those aliens again. Tamia would have nightmares about them for the rest of her life. The robots were bad enough but atleast they all died. The...sand aliens were not killed so at any time in the future they could show up again. Hopefully Tamia would be ready.

"YAAAAAAAAAAAWN, another day another dollar" Shez thought whilst stretching. As he walked out of the call centre he has been working in for the past 2 years to the monorail home. How he hated his job, but it paid the bills and allowed him to do things like go to Disney World so what did he care what the job was like..."Crap". Shez was on the monorail home now, and he totally promised his boyfriend Ben that he would pick up the pictures from when they went to Disney World a month ago from the store, and he could do without Ben being a misery guts this evening.
"Damn it, and why can't he just post them on Facebook like a normal person instead of having them printed?" Shez new the answer. its because like Shez, Ben didn't have anyone else in his life. They were each other’s worlds, so they had no one else to share the experience with apart from each other. Of course they made friends since being in Osaka, but no one that they have made close friends with. So Shez got off the monorail at the next stop. "Fortunately the photo store is only a 10 minute walk from this station, thank God." So off Shez walked to the store wondering what was for dinner when he gets back, when he saw..."Was that...nah couldn't of been, could it?" Shez swore he saw his older stepbrother Neal, but it couldn't be him. This panicked him; a flood of negative emotions washed over him. Shez walked over to where he thought he saw the familiar figure turn a corner. He looked round and saw a man who looked similar to his stepbrother but fortunately it was. Shez let out the worlds largest sigh of relief ever. He knew that if that were really his stepbrother, it would mean something bad was going to happen.
With the peace of mind knowing that wasn't Neal, Shez continued to the store. But he couldn't now shake the sensation that he was being watched.... but by whom?

Tsusaka had arrived at the jesters hang out(an old abandon bar's parking lot)"so this where those bastards hang out nowadays; well I can finally avenge Tachibana-sama.Okay time for them to pay."he whispered this to himself then jumped on his bike and set off at full speed griping an aluminum bat so tight that his fingers would've tore into his palm if not for his leather gloves. He swung at a member of the gang he did not know; crushing his skull within seconds then another member this time he missed and then a gun went off.The bullets hitting Tsusaka steering arm caused Tsusaka to crash. "SHIT SHIT SHIT MY FUCKING LEG" screamed Tsusaka trying to get his bike of his left leg he was immediately surrounded by the remaining jesters. The leader of the jesters motioned them to pick up Tsusaka bike. After his bike was removed Tsusaka tried to jump up to his feet but as soon as he did the leader shot him again this time in the right leg with a sawed off shot gun."why saka-kun we haven't seen you in years and go and kill billy-kun like that. why would you do that"said the jesters leader. "yo..u should know KANEDA. you killed my mentor. now why did you kill him Kaneda. why him KANEDA!"screamed Tsusaka in between grunts of pain."Easily because he stole and ruined you saka-kun and now since you angered me and harmed my comrades you must die too say hi to that old bastard for me. boys stomp him to hell".the members began kicking and stomping him tell all Tsusaka could see was black...then he sawed a multicolored light.

Takao angrily slammed his fist against a wall. The sudden jarring transfer to the Osaka room was so premature that he almost shot Tamia with his X-Rifle in his state of mind. The fight was over, the casualties were amazingly high, and no points were awarded. In other words, a total defeat. The room had a not so good feel to it, as the ball shut off. Unsure of how to perceive of the situation, Takao just cloaked and walked home casually.

Ichirou couldn't help but feel a little uneasy as he exited the apartment complex. It was a brisk, cold, very dark night and in the distance he could hear police sirens as well as fire engines blaring. They must be at the museum, he thought. I wonder if any innocents died... Who am I kidding, these fleshbags are bound to die from all of that.
The Psychic, clad in his black suit with a Y-Gun and G-Sword snug in their holsters and a X-Gun gripped tightly in his firm grip, he walked home in a silent rush.
The home was still under repairs from the two Vampire intruders as well as still under investigation by the Detectives for his fathers murder. So much was happening at once yet Ichirou found himself used to all the chaos. When he entered his home, his younger brother Takao arrived just a little while later. "Takao, what in the hell just happened? Why did Gantz stop the hunt before we killed them all?!" was the first question he asked him.

"Hi sir, I'm here to get some photo's developed." Shez stated. "Well isn't that why people come into a photo developers?" the old owner mused. Shez blushed due to his redundant statement. "Here’s the film, how long will it take to develop?" Shez asked. "Depends how fast you want them? If you want them doing within the hour you can, but it will cost twice the amount compared to the 24 development." The old man retorted.
Shez didn't mind paying the extra, because these little shops were closing down due to technology making it harder on them with digital cameras and such. He liked to think of it as his way of helping. "The 1 hour special then please." He said smiling. "Certainly" the old man smiled also at having the business. Shez still could not shake the sense of him being watched, he looked out the front door quickly and saw people walking by. A cold chill ran down his back "You ok lad?" the old man asked with genuine concern. Shez didn't realise it but he had gone pale and started sweating "Would it be ok if I wait here for the photos?" In an almost pleading tone, whilst trying to keep his cool. "Ofcourse you can, since you are my best customer." The old man winked and walked away to process the pictures.
Shez knew something was strange, since he saw that image of his step-brother. He tried to shake it off and sent his partner a text Pics bein done now. C u in 2 hrsish. Love you x.
Shez sat down on one of the chairs and waited. But it felt that he was waiting for something bad to happen.

Tamia didn't really know what to do at this point. She wasn't getting any answers and more than half of the people involved in the mission were dead. Tamia put her head down and sighed. She left the apartment to go back to her regular life. Knowing that she could be called back at any minute she decided to keep her suit on at all times instead of taking it off and risk not having it. Tamia walked for hours just trying to get a hold on what just happened.
Tamia was so deep in thought that she didn't even hear her phone ring. She was woken from her trance like state when she accidentally hit the talk button and heard her friend May screaming. "WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!" Tamia was startled by the voice and quickly searched for her phone. She grabbed the phone and spoke. "H-Hello? May? Is that you?" "Uh yeah! You know who this is. Where the hell are you? Where have you been? You just up and left and didn't even tell me how the date went. The hell Tamia? I thought we were friends."
Tamia stopped in her tracks when she remembered that the last thing she told May was that she was going out. Tamia started to tear up but she tried to laugh as she spoke. "It wasn't a date May and it went OK. Can you come pick me up? I really need to see you right now. I need a friend." The phone was silent for a minute before May responded. "Sure. Besides I wanna show you my new phone. It's SO cool." May hung up and Tamia sat down on a near by bench waiting for May to show up. Part of Tamia wanted to forget what happened. Part of her wanted to just give up. What was the point in going on? Just so that she could die like everyone else? Tamia sighed as she saw a car pull up several minutes later.
Tami got in and just looked out the window until she arrived at May's house.

While Ichirou waited for his brothers response, he walked over to the TV and turned it on. At first he flipped through the channels not really noticing what was on at first until he stopped at one. A news channel. And what was on that channel brought his attention forward. It was the Sand Aliens killing any firemen or police officer that neared the destroyed museum. The news anchor was frantic as he tried to report the amazing story that was unfolding in front of the world, "Its just like what happened those months ago!! The Zoo! That big dragon like creature! This isn't a movie people! This real! Monsters do exi- AAAGHHH!!" The screen went blank for a minute as the scene switched over to the news station. Another newswoman took over, "The events that have been happening in Osaka, Japan are incredible and very frightening at the same time! Just an hour before, people in black business suits caused a violent uproar in a major part of Osaka! Whats going on is what we're asking..."Ichirou dropped the remote on the floor. A powerful tingle shot up his (Tamia, Takao) spine. It wasn't like the other times, this time it was almost rough and painful. He touched the back of his neck but suddenly his controller started to make weird noises. Ichirou took it out and was surprised at what was on the LCD screen: g0 Ou7 & f!nI$H \/\/h@T w@$ sY@Rt3D k!|| tH3 r3$T 1mME@d!aT3LY D0 nOT ?st!0N My 0R#eR$ ”So it isn’t over huh? Gantz is commanding us to kill the rest of em..” said Ichirou. ”Guess we have no choice.” Ichirou grabbed a cloth that was laid out across the arm of his sofa and wrapped it around his face.

Tamia didn't even have a moment to talk to May before she felt a tingle go up her spine. She knew what it meant but this tingle was different. It felt rough and painful. Tamia put her hand on her neck and started to rub it. Then she noticed her controller beeping. The screen had some words written on it. Tamia managed to make out what it said. "Kill the rest and do not question my orders?" Tamia eyes lit up with fear. "Gantz! Oh no." Tamia looked at May and hugged her. "I have to go. I promise I'll meet you at your house." Tamia got out of the car and looked at her controller. "Those bastards are back. Why now? Guess I'll find out soon." Tamia found her X-Gun in her purse. "Great I'm going into battle with this." Tamia sighed as she made her way to the aliens.

Irritated by the fact that he had been at the photo store for the last 2 half hours and it had gotten really dark outside, and his 1 hour photo special was taking forever to do Shez was tapping his foot on the floor impatiently as he was now standing about waiting for the old man to hurry up “Old man, hurry up this is taking a fricking age, I have people waiting on me.” Shez implored in a somewhat condescending tone. “10 minutes sir, 10 minutes. I’m making sure they are suitable for my best customer.” The old geezer said for the millionth time. “10 minutes my ass” Shez said under his breath.
Shez opened his phone to text his boyfriend: Hey babe. Still @ photo place. Wat the hell right. Be home soon. Love you xoxo.
“Okay, there done.” The old man said in his ancient tone. Obviously someone had to return to the crypt for a snooze. “Thank the lord, Allah, Buddha. There is a God.” As he paid the amount for his photo’s he knew he should kick up a fuss to get money off due to what had happened. But he wouldn’t let himself, as this man needed the money to help his store, so Shez held his tongue smiled and said “Thank you” as he grabbed the photo’s and walked out the shop to get to the shuttle home.

After spending all of his yen on the Young Jump, Kyle wandered the streets of Osaka, taking in as much fresh air as possible after the isolation of his apartment. From dimly-heard TV broadcasts he vaguely gleaned there was supposedly some major commotion happening in the area, but he didn't see any of it in the part of town he was in. He thumbed through his magazine as he walked and wished he could work on a project he actually found interesting. Or that he could find a single friend in Japan who didn't talk to him with a subtle air of condescension. Maybe a female friend. Sure, then maybe he'd become an Olympic athlete, win the lottery, and invent cold fusion.
He turned down a back alley. Specifically, he turned down the same alley he took nearly every day as a shortcut home. It was two blocks from his house, and until tonight, it had been completely safe. Kyle never saw junkies or dealers there; he'd never been mugged in his whole life, let alone in this particular back alley. Hell, it wasn't even a dark alley: the streetlights illuminated every speck of dirt.
Yet, when Kyle turned down that alley tonight, he ran right into death.
He looked up from his magazine at the same moment the strange man looked up from his crouching position next to a dumpster. The Stranger looked to be a man in his 40s, clean shaven, soft skin, with his dark, wispy hair parted to the side. Kyle would never forget his face. It looked so normal, but somehow cold in a way he didn't consciously realize a person could look cold. It was perfectly calm and full of malice.
The stranger was crouched over an unconscious young woman, in her late teens or early twenties. There was an empty hypodermic needle placed carefully on the ground next to the man, as if the man had just finished injecting the woman with something and temporarily set the tool aside while he did focused on the next step of his awful plan. That next step was to handcuff the girl; her left hand was cuffed, and he had the restraints ready to close on her right.
Kyle and the Stranger locked eyes. Without looking away, the Stranger finished cuffing the woman. Kyle took a step back. Before he could run or scream or even notice that he was holding his breath, the man pointed a Taser at him and fired. The barbs hit Kyle in the chest, the wires conducting electric agony into his muscles, and he dropped silently to the ground, his magazine landing on his twitching ankle. Unable to move, he could only stare at the Stranger and his female victim. She stirred, opened her eyes drunkenly, and for a moment she seemed to soundlessly plead for Kyle to help her. They she was out again, and the Stranger had crossed the alley and propped up Kyle's helpless body.
"Sorry," the Stranger said in a matter-of-fact tone. "It can't be helped. You're a witness now."
Kyle felt the man's arms entwine his neck and he tried to scream again, but the man was too quick. He broke Kyle's neck cleanly, killing him on the spot.
The Stranger dropped Kyle's body to the pavement and turned back to the handcuffed woman. She was completely unconscious now. He pocketed his hypodermic needle, then caressed the woman's cheek absentmindedly as he reconsidered his choice of escape route. He'd planned the kidnapping phase of his plan carefully, watching his victim's every move through the Osaka streets. Despite the lighting, he though this was the best, most isolated place to grab her, but if there were more pedestrians about tonight than he expected, maybe he should take his victim the long way around to his special place. Plus he had to do something about the boy's body now. Hm.
He turned back to the spot where he killed Kyle and saw that the corpse was gone without a trace. Even the guy's magazine and the wires attached to his chest were missing. In his whole career as a serial killer, that was the first time the Stranger ever panicked.

Gantz had a sick sense of humor when it came to messing with him. It wasn't enough that Chins life was nothing more than a plaything to the round sphere, no Gantz had to prove that he could pull them into and out of danger whenever he pleased.
Taking another drink from his bottle of whiskey, Chin walked down the mostly empty streets. After being returned from a premature end to the hunt, Chin had gotten himself some new jeans and a brown jacket with a hood to cover up the skin tight black suit he was wearing underneath. The only weapon he was carrying on him was a simple X-Gun. He had figured the larger X-Rifles would be too bulky to hide, and he didn't really give a damn about the swords. Swords were for pussies.
Gulping down the last of his liquid courage, Chin tossed the bottle aside, hitting the side of a brick wall and shattering into a million pieces. Up ahead Chin spotted some fucker standing at a corner, hood drawn over his head and a bandanna covering his mouth. Most people would think the guy was a thief, but Chin could spot a dealer a mile away.
The sudden painful tingling at the back of his neck gave Chin the final push to confront the dealer and try to buy some way of getting all those fucked up images of dead bodies and aliens out of his head.
Chin was by no means a tall person, and so when he walked up to the drug dealer who was at least five inches taller than him and gave him a mean look it almost seemed comical. "What cha' sellin'?"
The dealer smiled behind his bandana and opened his jacket, revealing a multitude of drugs and needles. "Whatever you want man. I got Oxi, Smack, Angel Dust-"
"Give me the Oxi." Chin interrupted, eying his favorite drug with hunger in his eyes.
"It's 50 for a bag and-"
Chin slammed his fist into the brick wall the dealer was standing on, causing it to crack and cave in due to the strength from the suit. "I didn't ask how much it cost, I said give it to me." The dealer made a move to run, but even without the suit Chin would've been able to catch him. He slammed his right foot into the back of the dealers knee, receiving a satisfying snapping sound as the guys leg came off from the thigh down.
The dealer screamed out in agony as he tried to crawl away, blood gushing out of his horrible wound. Chin sighed and moved around so that he was now in front of the crawling cripple. "Stop bitching. You think this is bad? Trying being skewered by a fucking trident." More whining, and Chin rolled his eyes as he pulled out the X-Gun and pulled both triggers at the crying mans head. "Bitch."
Pskalp!
The dealers head had exploded, covering the ground and part of Chins pant leg in blood and brain matter. Rolling the dead man over, Chin took the Oxycontin, some tin foil, a straw, and his cell phone, leaving the rest for the vultures to scavenge.
Finding a darker alleyway to hid in, Chin sat himself down against the wall and pulled out the tinfoil first. He put one Oxycontin down of the foil, holding the straw between his lips as he pulled out his lighter and flicked it on, holding it underneath the foil and where the drug was. As the smoke was coming off the Oxycontin Chin inhaled, already getting a satisfaction out of the drug that he hadn't been getting anywhere else.
The dealers phone rang, and in his drug induced stupor Chin flipped it open. It was apparently a message from one of his suppliers telling him about some fucking monsters coming out of the museum and killing people. Even high off his ass Chin could recognize that the monsters were really the Aliens him and the others didn't finish off. Crushing the phone in his hand, Chin picked himself up and started running to wards the museum.
"Time for a little payback."

Takao was in a state of boredom, daydreaming about some random type of food, while his brother asked him serious questions. Snapping out of his daydream and back into reality, he readied a typical apathetic response before having the jolting tingle shot up along his back. He examined the message on his controller, which was now acting like a pager.
That very instance Takao realized that the hunters were not let off the hook. The aliens were still out there, murdering poor, helpless people. It was time to go back to work. Making sure his controller was well attached to his wrist, and patted himself down to check his weaponry, he picked up his X-Rifle and H-Gun.
"Time to go a-huntin'" He dryly said as he approached the house door and turned invisible before leaving.
