A twinge of memory.
When Nick told his story and tossed the glasses toward him, Dexter caught them and peered down at the shades. They looked like regular shades, the standard kind the Vampires use. "Thats right.." Dexter said as his memory started to jog. He closed his eyes and let the memories of his past return to him. Every last angle, loop and cranny was restored. "I remember it all, Nick. Thank you," said Dexter. He crushed the glasses and tossed them aside.

"Very well then. After you!" Daniel led Jillian to where he had his old Volkswagen Beetle parked.
It had surely been quite the night. Daniel had taken the girl to a nice cozy restaurant, sitting as far away from the kitchen as he could. They had a pleasant dinner, and afterwards they headed to the hospital. It just took a ten minutes incursion for them to destroy all records of Jillian's death, aided by the girl's controller to cloak her. After taking her back home, Daniel himself made his way to his apartment.
About twelve hours later, they were both walking down a dirt road somewhere near the Hawaiian mountains. The man had taken a couple of heavy black sport bags with him, yet their contents were still unknown to Jillian. Using a small cooper key, Daniel opened the metallic door to the abandoned warehouse he had acquired earlier this year, since the company that owned it had gone bankrupt. With a sharp screeching sound, the heavy iron door opened, and Daniel held it so the young woman could go in. Inside the warehouse, there were a series of small wooden cabins, that had one of their sides open and a window in the opposite one, facing towards a series of paper targets several feet away. There was also a couple of steel lockers, a desk, chairs, and a larger wooden cabin. This one served the role of an office, kitchen and bedroom for the ties where Daniel didn't feel like going back to the city.
"Welcome," he said to Jillian, "to my home away from home!"

Victor slipped into the apartment silently and looked up from his controller to find two men talking and one simultaneously eating toast.
"Hey guys," he said, with an awkward hand jerked up. "Dexter, right?" he asked, and pointed to one of the men. "And you... dammit, I forgot your name."
He looked at both of them, and hoped he came to the right place for help.

Nick literally stumbled back. The sudden appearance of Victor was startling enough. This was just even more reason to go and lock the apartment door. This was just too fucking early for him to be dealing with this. He spawned a small knife in his hand in case Vic had motives he had not spoke of. With a click and a quick turn around, Nick looked at Victor and asked, dead on, "Why are you here and what the fuck do you want from me, dammit!?"

Victor stepped back, hands up. "Woah man! I don't think I'd greet you if I planned to hurt you." He advanced back towards the man with the knife.
"Look, I just have some questions. Not about the ball. About the people who attacked us, because that comes first. Moreover...." Victor's voice came low to a whisper as he squinted his eyes and looked behind him. "I think one's following me. He moves just like those men with the uzis, and I think you have something to do with it." Victor straightened himself and lost his interrogating tone.
"You also move just like them, but I think you've made it clear you're on my side." He reached for his G-Sword. "Unless I'm mistaken...."

Nick did not provide an answer to the man. The fact that he could utilize the new equipment to find him, and to just categorized they way he and the others meant one thing. The man was a natural born hunter. The knife he had in his had suddenly felt like a rubber toy as he slowly walked to his side. As Victor reached for his G-Sword, Nick side-eyed the bag that Dex had brought, hopefully it was what he thought it was.
"I don't have anything to do with it. Only those assholes and the ball have to do with your issue. Have a problem, Take it to the vampires. Just not with me. I want to kill them all." His fragmented speech under pressure did not help him much. Hopefully this would not get intense. The worse thing than vampires were probably rouge gantzers.

Victors' randomly timed showing up at Nicks' apartment slight startled Dexter. When the two hunters started to converse about Vampires and stalkers, Dexter went over to his bag and grabbed it. "Ill see you two tonight. I dont want any part of this," said Dexter.

Nick listened as Dexter shut the door behind him. His eyes focused at Victor. His fingers each tensed around the small knife. The useless piece of shit was all he had now that Dex upped and left his pad. This standoff could not last any longer without it blowing out of proportion.
Nick squinted at the intruder as he raised his knife up. "Drop mine, if you drop yours?"
Hopefully this agreement would work. It was too early in the morning to fight.

"Agreed."
Victor moved his hand away from the G-Sword and, once again, moved towards Nick. "I... I need your help. Those men last night, with the uzis. They're way out of my league, but I know where one of them will be." This was the first time Victor ever worked with someone else. The effects of the last 24 hours had a huge effect on him, but he didn't want to show any signs of weakness, till now.
"I've seen the way you fight. If I had at least you helping me... then we'd have a chance. I know where one of them is going to be, soon, but we'd better hurry."

As he tossed the small knife onto the counter, Nick circled around Victor while listening to him before eventually resuming where he was at the beginning of the entire ordeal: Eating toast and drinking coffee. Rubbing his forehead before he responded, he eventually settled with "Okay. Me and those guys are vampires. They hunt people who are participants of this game. They don't like us "Gantzers". How many of them are following you?"
As he asked that question, he heard a loud rapping at the door. The three heavy knocks didn't seem to friendly. Nick slowly looked at Victor and raised his knife again. While he looked through the peephole. One man was there with an Uzi. Nick slowly turned to to Victor and said softly "Okay, i believe you now..."

"I thought I misled them! Dammit, they're better trackers than I thought," Victor muttered to his newfound ally. He drew his x-gun and extended his g-sword. Quickly hopping forward, Victor quietly placed himself behind the corner of a wall with one eye and the x-gun around it.

The two vampires out side shrugged and then left. They lept from the the level they were on and took off onto the streets, thinking they missed Victor somewhere else. "Luckily for you, most vampires usually are impatient people." Nick smugly remarked before plopping himself back on the couch.
"Oh by the way, This hawaii gantz ball we use is glitchy. So we might have another hunt tonight. Balls all over the world all have different hunt rates. But something about hawaii seems to draw the aliens all here frequently..."

Jillian was having a good night. In spite of everything that led up to it. The one thing she didn't plan on was coming to an abandoned warehouse. This didn't look good to her. She was still finding it hard to trust Daniel even though he saved her she still just didn't quite know anything about him. When he opened the door for her she was hesitant to enter at first. In her mind this could've been a trap. It's on a dirt road near the mountains. It's perfect for trying to do something with her. Jillian stayed on her guard at all times.
"So.....Why did you choose this place to go to? I mean no one's around for miles, it's abandoned, if I didn't know any better I'd think you were trying to do something." Jillian smiled to hid the fact that those were her feelings. She figured if she smiled she could play it off as a joke. At the same time she could get answers and get an idea of what Daniel really wants.

Victor calmed his stance, sheathed his weapons back into his suit and sat in a chair.
"So I'm guessing you don't know much about the ball either." He sighed. "We need to do something about those guys, and soon. The longer we have them around, the more risk we take. I don't want something like last night happening again. People could die."
Twiddling his thumbs, Victor took an awkward amount of time to think about his newfound situation in life. "Say.... I've already died once. What happens if I die again within this 'Gantz' game?"

"You die again in Gantz...well you are gone for good then." Nick calmly responded as he sipped his coffee and munched on toast. This conversations was dragging on for too long and he was getting slightly annoyed by this newcomer. Besides, seriously, how early was it in the morning, 8 am?
"Seriously, i got to go to work soon so can you go please?" Nick calmly said as he continued to eat.
