Shadow Alien
Characteristics: Likes dark places with lots of shadows or darkness to hide in. Lives in large packs of 20- 30 with others of its kind. When in its passive form, it resembles a dark cloud of smoke and cannot be harmed. It can merge with a shadow and hide in the shadow itself where it cannot be found unless light is cast onto the shadow it is hiding in. If the shadow is attached to other shadows, the Shadow Creep's can travel through them at the speed of sound. As previously mentioned that the Shadow Creep's cannot be harmed unless a "bright" light source shines on them. (e.g. from a 40 watt bulb in a tourch or brighter).
When they attack their form changes from smoke to a living steel like substance. They work as pack animal's trying to ensnare their targets by luring people into dark alleys or tunnel's. One Shadow Creep will pretend to be weak or chase people into these areas, and when the prey falls in the trap at least 5 Shadow Creeps appear from the darkness and will shred their pray into ribbons with their razor like claws in their attack form.
If a light is shined on the Shadow Creep's in it's defence form, they become like flesh for a short period (10 seconds), and from this form they are extremely vulnerable to attacks. After a further 20 seconds if the Shadow Creep has not been killed they are able to regenerate in defence form.
When light is shined on the Shadow Creep's in attack form, their skin burns as if touched by acid and they are unable to regenerate these areas, and these areas will also become vunerable to attacks. Burns caused in attack mode cannot be healed in defence form.

Other Information:
5 feet tall, but they can merge to make a bigger and stronger version of itself. Once merged, it cannot become undone. With each merge it becomes 1 foot taller. Max height 10 feet. Not overly strong by itself until merging. Not super fast when not in the shadows until merged. Each merge makes the Shadow Creep that bit stonger and faster.
