It's come to my attention that all the good mangas that I've read have long gaps between chapters that are translated. I thought it was just Gantz, but Berserk has yet to have a translated 325. I think I started reading it two weeks ago, too and I saw Fayrra complain about a 2-3 month gap between a couple chapters. So, is it just these two mangas or does every single good one have a ridiculously large wait between chapter translations?

Gantz hasn't been a good manga since Part I ended. Berserk is damn good though.

Vinland Saga's also a very awesome-as-hell manga that takes forever to release.
Claymore's pretty good, and that takes a hell of a long time as well.
The rest of my top favorite manga were already finished by the time I started reading them, so I don't know how long it took to release them.
Anyway....
Read Vinland Saga.

Berserk was awesome from page two. If I recall correctly, the first was an opening chapter page that was blank. I think if the newer chapters of Gantz were released faster and included more of Tae being stomped on, less idle discussion, and much more shooting/slashing, it'd be better.

i think the creator of berserk might die before its complete gonna be shitty if that happens. Yeah the problem with the berserk creator is he takes along time to draw it i mean some of the shit he draws is crazy amazing and complicated so i mean for that kinda quality im willing to wait

He needs what I need. Some device that inputs images from the mind onto paper without drawing needed. This'd take away lots of frustration for lots of people.

You might like Blame!, then. I found it after rummaging around for something to read after I caught up on Gantz.

Blame! is great. My example of this slow manga trend would be d.gray-man since i love the series but a chapter comes out every two fucking months. And each chapter raises more questions. ITs HORRID.

I heard good things about D. Gray Man. Along with another manga called "Priest".

i completely agree ulrich... and just to list a few...
Berserk Gantz Vinland Saga Liar Game Vagabond Historie Zetman Worst Hunter X Hunter (although the mangaka has started releasing it weekly for now)
god dammit i fucking hate it... and the worst part is that ive completely dropped some of them from the ridicuously slow releases, i even forgot what is happening in vagabond and historie... i dont even remember the main character's name...
And yeah, read Vinland Saga, its pretty awesome
