In Sydney there was a room. In that room there was a ball. In that ball there was a man. The man was in control of many peoples lives, and he sent them on dangerous missions that could result in their demise. But the man was not evil you see, he had simply become cold and calculating over time, and cared not for the individual. His heart had become cold and black. Like that of a machine.

The first participant of the room was Boylan. The explorer transferred with a pained look on his face as he was clutching his right wrist very hard with his left hand. His eyes were tightly shut and his teeth gritted, sweat running through his body. He wore shorts with dusty boots and a green jacket on top with many pockets, underneath a simple black shirt. His strawhat fell from his head as he opened his eyes.
"Goddamit!" He said as he reflexively tried to get away from the snake, but there was none there. He was in a room, alone and there was a black ball in the middle of the room. Boylan's face was perplexed as he slowly grabbed his strawhat and put it on. "Did that snake have psychedelic venom or something?" He said as he laughed nervously, but he could tell this was no psychedelic experience, he had tried LSD a couple of times so he knew the effects. He got up and circled around the sphere trying to figure out what it was but he didn't have a clue. He could see the Opera House from the window so he knew he was in Sydney...

"Uh?"
He just stood there in the middle of the apartment with a dazed expression on his face, though his long bangs covered his eyes.
"Wasn't I just-? I swear that Dodo bird was calling my name," he said recalling the event leading up to his death. "Then suddenly a loud BANG. And now? Im in some apartment."
Zed Steele focused his vision forward on the black ball. His high was completely gone and his mind completely free. Where had his high went? But that wasn't important right now. What brought the weed smoking student back to reality was the fact that he was in a brightly lit room with a black ball and some red headed guy standing next to it. The red head had an awesome scar though.
"Hey. Um.. So whats going on?" Zed asked the man. Zeds brown bangs covered his eyes and that usually threw people off as they sometimes don't know if hes talking to them or himself, a habit of his. The potent smell of ganja and outside radiated off of Zeds white button up shirt probably a size to small for his massive frame, ironed jeans and black nike shoes. "Why are we here and what the hell is that, bud?"

Boylan remained literally stunned as the black ball shot out lasers and a big teenage boy appeared in the room. "Mate! Mate! Y-you, th-this ball brought you here!" He said pointing at the ball. Was he transported here the same way? "I don't know what's going on mate, i'm as clueless as you." Boylan said shrugging.

"Oh.. Wait...... Huh?" Zed pointless said out his mouth. He looked around the brightly lit room. It was completely bare besides the black sphere and the man standing beside it.
To the right of the right of the ball was a dark sky. Night.
A balcony. That meant he could at least open the sliding door and go outside. Zed did so, or at least tried. He walked up to the handle and tried to pull the sliding door. But his hand couldn't even TOUCH the damn handle!
"Holy!" Zed took a step back. "Th-Theres some kind of... Force thing around the handle! I can't even touch it!" He turned his head back to look at the door to the left of the ball. He rushed over to it and tried to open. Same result.
"No!" The massive teenaged man said. "How are we supposed to get out of here?! I have finals tomorrow for petesake, bud!"

Cosette was brought to life by the estranged tri-color beam. The hare had a small tophat on her head, from the act she had 'performed' in before running into the street. Cosette was in a new area now, and it was filled with scents. She lifted herself up onto her hind legs and began to sniff the air.

A man in a ridiculous outfit that was soaked from head to toe with blood appeared;he went from drowning in a pit of blood to an apartment room somewhere in Sydney but this did not freak him out in the least.Instead it made him very happy.I'm alive. Amazing it must have work.No it did work because it is me after all the ruler of this world but why do have this ominous felling.Like I could die at any minute. Then he saw the black ball and a chill went up his spine for he had some idea what it was.A while ago some of his followers had told him about this very same black ball; Gantz was its name and when he learned it could only bring the dead back to life only for them just to complete in some weird survival game where death was almost guaranteed he decide that it was not worth his time.Dammit guess I'm still not immortal well better get this over with so I can get back to my work.Cynric went to the other bewildered men in the room completely ignoring Cosette and said in a slight irritated manner"So from the look on your faces I guess you have no idea whats going on do you.(he paused to regain his composure and continue to talk with an (almost creepy) calm manner)Hello my name is Cynric Faust and would you like to know whats going on here.".

Two beams of multi colored light shot out of Gantz and began forming up two new individuals. One was a well toned Spanish woman with long curly black who was carrying a Desert Eagle in her left hand. The other woman was also Spanish, though she was shorter and much plumper than the other one, and was carrying a Pump-Action Shotgun in both hands.
Once the transfer ended, both females widened their eyes in surprise at their new surroundings. This was a complete change from the massive gun fight they had been having at the Sydney National Bank just moments ago.
"Maria." The plump one said, gripping her companions arm. "What's going on?"
Maria simply shook her head, confused as her companion. "I don't know Anita, but I'm finding out." Maria suddenly pointed her gun at Cynric, while Anita followed suit and pointed her shotgun at Boylan and Zed. "Listen up you fuckers! I want some answers and I want them now!"

Cosette was unperturbed at the appearance of the two women with firearms. The hare wandered behind the ball after finding everyone else boring. She sat on the floor and shut both eyes. The room was much more calming than the street had been.

Cynric was about to explain everything he knew when two women wielding fire arms showed up and started demanding an explanation.God dam idiots; because threatening me with weapons is going to make me want to help you.So far out of the four teammates I have two are asking for me to kill them but the more help I have the better I guess. Cynric spoke to the girls trying to be as charming as possible "Well don't you two have incredible timing I was just about to explain whats going on.My name is Cynric Faust and(he walked over to the ball placing a hand on it and continue to speak in a calm manner) this is Gantz.Basically this ball brings people back to life when they die and forces them to compete in a war game against aliens I know it sounds crazy but remember you all just died a little while ago so I think you will just have to believe.And that is all I know of this twisted game."(Cynric then went by Moss put a hand on his shoulder and try to sound inspirational)" So let all try are best and work together to live another day."He then sat down waiting for Gantz to do something.

Boylan was surprised as another beam shot from the black ball and now a hare appeared. Everyone could think that was a rabbit but Boylan knew better. It actually was an European hare. Boylan smiled, wondering what it was doing in Australia when they were a species native to northern, central, and western Europe and western Asia. "Lepus europaeus" Boylan said more to himself than to the others. So this 'transportation' system or whatever was not only for humans but for animals too. Boylan wanted to get closer to the hare but then another man was transported. That guy seemed to know what was going on.
Suddenly two women were transported to the room holding gunfire. They were sexy, if not for the part where they were pointing a gun at the people there.
"Hey, ladies, relax, we're just as clueless as you." Boylan said raising his hands up. "But that guy might know." Boylan said pointing at Cynric. Then Cynric began talking and it all sounded crazy to Boylan, also how the hell was he walking around so relaxed when the girls were pointing guns at them? Boylan stayed still, waiting to see what would happen.

So now he had two very attractive women point two very dangerous weapons at him and the others. These were no damsels in distress.
Some kind of bunny rabbit and a man completely covered in blood that explained what the hell the black ball was and why they were here came in before the two women.
The tall, muscular teenager did nothing but stand still. Women with power were extremely dangerous and these two were the definition of that.
"Umm can we all just calm down maybe? W-We're all in the same situation!"

Anita and Maria listened to Cynrics crazy story, not wanting to believe that they had both died in the fight with the coppers. Still, it would explain the bullet holes in their outfits...
Maria scowled, not liking how calm Cynric was acting about the situation. She hated guys who acted smooth like that. "Did I tell you to sit down!?" Maria fired off a shot at Cynric, hitting him directly in the shoulder. The bullet traveled through the wound and hit Gantz, bouncing off his smooth surface. A ricochet effect started to happen, the bullet bouncing all over the place. It nearly hit the poor rabbit Corsette, just missing her by inches.
"Hit the floor!" Anita shouted as she slammed her jiggly body down, the bullet zipping right past her.
Maria herself fell to the floor, silently cursing herself for the trouble that had befallen her and her lover. Suddenly something strange happened, two multi-colored lights began shooting out of the black ball, and soon two people began to form up.
One was Jace, sporting a green Mohawk and multiple piercings. Beside him the silent giant known as Solomon looked at everyone through his dark specs. Just before the bullet was going to hit Solomon, his hand whipped out in a blur of speed. In his hand he had the bullet, now flattened down to where it was no thicker than a dime.
Jace grinned at his dark skinned partner in crime, finding the bullet catch to be the funniest thing ever....today at least.
"Hello mates!" Jace shouted, grinning from ear to ear. His skin tight black suit made a slight squeak sound as he traversed over to Gantz, looking down at the injured Cynric before shrugging. "My name is Jace! The big black guy who just caught the bullet is Solomon. We're here to make sure you don't die!"
Maria and Anita both looked at each other, nodding slowly and then standing up, aiming their weapons on Solomon and Jace. "What do you mean, make sure we don't die? Just what the fuck is going on! The no homo on the floor said we're supposed to hunt something." Anita nodded at Cynric, who was bleeding quite a lot.
Jace blinked, surprised that someone besides him and Solomon knew about Gantz. He glanced down at Cynric again, most intrigued by this news. "Well the no homo's right, we are gonna' hunt something. Good news is we all get indestructible suits and kick ass weapons." To demonstrate Jace pulled out an empty coke can and tossed it in the air. The next second he whipped out his X-Gun and fired upon the piece of trash.
The empty can bounced down to the ground near Anita's feet, causing the Spanish woman to frown. "Don't fuck with me-" The sudden explosion of the can caused the plump woman to jump back, surprised as hell at what had just happened.
Jace grinned. "Ta-da."
Suddenly Gantz started to emit music from itself, and the song was oddly recognizable.
'Heeeeeeeeere we are! Born to be kings! We're the Princes of the Universe!'
'Here we belong! Fighting to survive, in a world with the darkest powers!'
That's right, it was none other than Queen's 'Princes of the Universe' from the Highlander film. While the music was playing Jace decided to bang his head to wonderful lyrics of Freddie Mercury, enjoying every second of it.
Soon the music ended and words started to appear.
You guys are died, but I made you whole once more,

If you want to escape, you'd best be quick on your feet,
The only way out, is for you to end the target you defeat.
Suddenly a picture appeared of a mossy bi-pedal creature. It looked big and mean.

"What the fuck? That's Man-Thing." Jace exclaimed, automatically recognizing the mossy creature as a famous Marvel Character. The image disappeared and the black ball opened itself up, revealing a cache of weapons and brief cases.
Jace turned to face everyone, except for Cynric since he bleeding and shit, and grinned. "Any questions?"Inventory: 6 X-Guns, 12 X-Rifles, 6 Y-Guns, 4 G-Swords, 2 Monobikes Jace: Suit, X-Gun Solomon: Suit, X-Rifle

Pain Cynric hated pain more than anything else but beside this his eyes never left Jace.He needed to know what was going on in greater detail.As soon as he saw how the weapons worked and Gantz opened up he got up wobbly and fell on top of Gantz he grabbed an x-gun and fell down on his uninjured shoulder and sat up against a wall for support.Then he looked at the x-gun for about four seconds and said in his calm manner"So we use these weap-(he quickly pointed and pulled both triggers as Jace did at Maria's head then just as swift to Anita's head and continue to talk in his calm manner)-ons to kill aliens. Oh yeah sorry angels but I will kill anything alien or human that tries to kill me got that.So(he looked at Jace hoping he killed those bitches),sorry for cutting your team down but you know what would you have done in my situation and sorry to ask a favor of you guys but could hep with my wound."Cynric waited for the team response to his action but as long as he could survive he didn't care what happened to other would that be Cynric greatest weakness or greatest strength.
Inventory:x-gun, dagger in coat pocket.

The firing of Maria's weapon scared the hare, it jumped back, and did so again when the bullet ricocheted off of the Gantz. She was scared, and she smelled new scents in the room. She waltzed over to a nearby corner and watched as a man tossed something into the air. It hit the ground, then exploded.
The shock from these events caused Cosette to bolt off-full speed when the music started playing, right into the kitchen. It glanced around, looking for a place to hide. After spotting an open cabinet by the floor, she ran into it and stepped into the darker area of the cabinet to remain hidden. The show hare was scared, she'd even urinated on the floor - right in the doorway that lead into the kitchen. There was a small piddle trail, but it faded away, only with a small curve towards where Cosette hid herself.
