This was my dream last night, so it sounds a bit crazy.
You awake in a strange world, entirely surrounded by a forest. You have no idea how you got there, except a faint memory of someone breaking into your house and kidnapping you and your entire family. You have your clothes on you and one item. (My dream had 2 specific characters, so I'll go about it htat way.) One man, a rather brutish fellow woke up with a pair of chopsticks next to him. He woke up and put one in his pocket, but accidentally dropped the other. The chopstick stuck in the ground and suddenly the left half of his body started to grow, becoming a cross between an ogre and a dragon. He quickly picked up the chopstick, reverting to human form. (The Other main character) You awake, a book that is roughly 2 feet tall by 1 foot wide setting on your chest. You are confused and stand up, the book falling to the ground. As it falls to the ground, it opens and you see a drawing of a pair of chopsticks, a name, and a drawing of a man next to a drawing of a giant half-ogre, half-dragon monster.

This was just what happened that I remember of my dream, so It doesnt totally make sense, but I wanted to write it down before I forgot it. So, what do you guys think?

What were you doing the day of the dream that sparked this? I get roleplay ideas in dreams all the time that I immediately forget. Except that one time I wrote down the sand aliens.
What do you think is creating these transformations? What meaning do the chop sticks have?

No idea really. I just went to bed and woke up mid-way after the transformation. The chopsticks were what caused the transformation. When they hit the ground and go into it, the man grows into a monster. If only one chopstick falls, then half of his body transforms (left or right, according to the chopstick). I'm amazed I still remember that much of the dream, i don't even remember what I did that day.
Essentially, every person brought one thing with them. Something they had on them at the time. It changed a bit when they entered that world. The book was originally Dante's Inferno, but it turned into a book that shows any person using a power, what the power does, and the object that causes it.
