Ok so selloutboy asked me these questions months ago and I just feel absolutely shitty for not having the time to answer them for him. So instead of him waiting for me Im sure u guys can answer them for me PLEASE:
1) In a lot of the old mission threads I've been reading, it seems like people don't talk about their suit integrity percentage much. If my character is, for example, hit by an alien's attack, how do I determine how much integrity my suit has lost? Should I keep the percentage in my inventory at the end of each post? I assume suit integrity is restored before and after each mission during the transfer. Also, melee attacks with the suit (punching, kicking, etc.) only make one lose suit integrity if they are killing blows, right?
2) It seems that different regions have slightly different rules for how many times one can fire a gun per post and such things. Obviously I couldn't fire my x-gun 57 times in one post. Are they any exact limits? Do the rates of fire differ for the x-gun, y-gun, etc.?
3) Just to clarify, it seems the best way to narrate is to type what I intend to do to enemies. For example: "Kyle fires at the alien 2 times, pulling both triggers. If the alien dies, he will jump over its dead body and try to rejoin the others." If the alien does NOT die, then in my next post I have to change my plan. Does this sound about right?
4) Does every controller have a wrist-strap, or just some of them? Are the controllers always in the suitcases with the suits (unless they were taken home with the suit)?
5) About the controller frequencies: are the hunters on frequency 1 by default, with 2 and 3 being the "invisible" ones? Are all three frequencies invisible to the public during missions, or could one accidentally expose oneself and get one's head blown up by Gantz? Is the frequency of people in their everyday lives one of the three on the controller? If not, how does one become visible again if using stealth mode between missions?
6) When the suit is on and activated, does it always give the increased strength, speed, and protection, with the "bulging muscles" just being a physical sign of the suit being used in high-intensity situations? Or rather, if one is caught off-guard with the suit on and activated but NOT bulked up, does the suit not work the same way?
7) How exactly does one send an enemy with the y-gun after they have been ensnared with the laser anchors? By pulling both triggers? Does the gun have to be aimed at it the ensnared enemy to send it, or pointed anywhere? What if you just pulled one trigger or the other? Can more shots be fired out while the first enemy is ensnared, or can it not fire until the first one is sent?
8) If I'm right, the x-gun and y-gun can only lock onto one enemy at a time, while the x-rifle can lock onto multiple enemies? Is this right? Can the x-rifle lock onto multiple body parts of the same enemy?
