The Timer:
A hunt will take 8 weeks in real time. In the RP it takes 60 minutes. this means every day, 60/56=1.07, approximately one minute will pass. Whether a mod updates or not this one minute will pass meaning, if a mod updates once every 2 days his updates will be over a time of 2 minutes if he updates once every 3 days it will be for periods of 3 minutes.
Point Caps:
Per hunt, the max a hunter can get is 100 pts in addition to what they already earned in previous hunts.
Combat:
Modified T1 Rule Set: Semi-Turn Based, No Auto, Text Driven Combat System, which means...
Semi-Turn Based: You and an alien will go back and forth with offensive/defensive moves. If you miss posting a day, the alien will still move.
No auto:An auto is anything at all that you describe as happening to your opponent/another player. It is each characters job and right to decide on and describe for themselves what happens to them. Mods can only determine what you do as far as you cannot control. (IE if you do get hit in a certain direction a mod can say that you are forced in the direction by the impact of the punch, but a mod cannot switch your intentions or will to do normal actions. The mod also determines death).
Text-Driven:An offensive move will be typed, but you have the opportunity to defend or deal with that situation. The same goes the other way around. The better you type your moves, the better chance you have of success, on top of other factors.
Pm the Mod: For pvp-based or stealth enhanced situations you will be allowed to pm the mod your post. This way the other roleplayers in the room cannot see your move. Possibly giving you an edge in battle. This is optional and the post will be expected to follow the same rules and regulations as any normal post.
Success of actions:
Mods determine the success or failure of an action by answering these question:
1. Is it possible in real physics?
2. Is it possible in Gantz physics?
3. Is it possible with your character?
4. Is it possible the way you describe it?
The first two have to be a yes. The third being a no may result in an undesirable action. If the fourth is a no there will be a lot of room for failure. So make sure you don't describe things too vaguely, but don't make them too complicated either.
