As mods and admins, Ren, Dawg, Ronnie, and I had a discussion about the rule of color for speech. In the old rules, it was okay as long as people didn't let it get out of hand.
Eventually, the debate ended with this outcome.
Ren and Ronnie were for keeping the rule intact.
Dawg and I wanted to keep color text available for dialogue so that we could use it to express a character's voice, speech style and emotion.
The way I picture it, each character can (optionally) maintain a single color for speech as long as it is a reasonably easy to see color. For example Takao's speech in osaka was always in Crimson
"DAMN YOU VAMPIRES!"
Some pros and cons to the idea.
PROS: Gives users ability to give characters a little bit more depth and organization.
It helps speech stand out.
Helps to tell characters apart.
CONS: Bad colors could be annoying.
Could be considered by some to be distracting.
SO there you have it. We can debate about this but I hope that this rule will be gone, and we can use color once more.

I choose to remain using the color speech. Atleast in Osaka, you are allowed to do that. Maybe it should be left to the mod of the Regions discretion.

Agreed, if its region specific, that could be good. I want to opt in to useing it for hawaii myself.
