"SONUVABITCH!" Takao cursed as his alarm clock rang off, early in the morning. The rectangular box emitted the high pitched chirps at 6 am, just as the first rays of light began to hit the sky. He showered long, and took his time to eat his breakfast. A moment after be brushed his teeth, he went to his closet.
"Not gonna wear the suit today." He commented. School was a chance to feel normal, or at least like a functioning member of society. Taking it off his hanger, Takao felt rather nostalgic about putting his school uniform back on. The shoulders and arms were tight, and the legs were almost too short. He had grown and grew stronger since the last time he wore the bland outfit, but it was less embarrassing than a skin tight suit, even if it gave him super powers.
Takao bounded out of Ichirou's house at 7 am, without the chance of saying "Good Morning" to him. School bag in one hand, swim bag in the other, it had been almost a year since he felt this organized. There was no way he was gonna feel relaxed about this. He had missed...how many classes? The work was gonna kick Takao's ass. The school eventually grew in sight, and Takao made it to his homeroom with time to spare.
Whispers surrounded him as he took his seat in the third row next to the window. Girls turned their backs to him when he looked at them, and guys gave off vibes of fear and tension. Normal school days all over again. He felt a tinge of sadness as he became integrated back into the educational system. Sayomi wasn't there, and would never be there ever again. Those thoughts came to a close as the bell rang, the gates shut, the whispers died and the wooden door slammed open then slammed shut.
"Sensei is late again today! Looks like I will be giving off the announcements and doing the attendance for this class. This is class 12-B, right? A girl with purple hair composed herself at the front of the classroom. She held a clipboard, and was twirling a pen in her left hand. Takao knew he had seen her somewhere before.
She had to be a classmate in an advanced class above, a status Takao was denied due to truancy and violence. She began to read names off of a clipboard. His classmates names. Eventually, the list reached him, and as he gave an acknowledgement of his presence, the class grew silent with amazement. The purple haired girl continued to read names and started the announcements, but a heavy air surrounded the class of 12-B
"Class, Don't forget that the club director meeting is tomorrow after school. Sports should also meet up, since we are preparing for the school festival. That is all." The girl left the room.
The rest of the day was rather monotonous. Takao got his missing work, which literally was a mountain. Then he made his way to the pool.
Aki Shiku was there, as new swim team captain. He was Takao's replacement, and apparently he was not a very good replacement for Takao, as he was sleeping on the job. The other swimmers looked up from drills and saw that Takao was back. Cheers were yelled, and Takao finally felt back at home. Those cheers also woke up Aki, and boy did those make him mad. Takao was not changed for the pool, nor was he ready to swim, he was just ready to enjoy the atmosphere.
"Hi guys, did'ya miss little ol' me?" Takao said in his usual banter. "Since i sure as hell missed all of y--" A large fist made contact with Takao's face, and knocked him off his chair. Takao felt some pain, and had no suit.
He looked up, and there stood Aki, with two large goons at his side.
