Since in fact all weapons are now known to us from the manga. Is there still a need to have all these made up crazy weapons? I mean crazy in a positive way though. I know that before the 100pt weapons were known in the manga it was necessary to make your own weapons, but since they are now known, we can just stick to those right?
There are two reasons why I think we should stick to the weapons in the manga. One is because that way stay close to the story. A good argument but not good enough I think. My second argument is that the weapons in the manga are really good, but not overwhelming. with the exception of the mech they are pretty uninspired one might say. You spend all this on getting 100 points and you just get another gun, which is a bit better. I think that's awesome, since it shows the hard reality the gantzers live in, and also we can experience that hardcore ness with less powerful 100pt weapons.
From what i've seen Gantz awards new weapons everytime you reach 100pts. First time you get the H-Gun. Then the hard suit. Third the flying bike and fourth the Mecha. If I'm not mistaken.

I don't think we have seen all the weapon upgrades; Oka had cleared the game seven times and we've only seen four or five upgrades (the arms might come separately to the rest of the suit).
Besides, at least one other member of the Osaka team had four kills yet didn't have a mech. Then again, apart from Oka none of them had any 100-point weapons apart from the Z/H-Gun... So maybe they are the only weapon upgrades, but for the first few clears you only get extra Z-Guns? I dunno...

The Osaka team members could have revived someone. Like Knob reviving his girlfriend(though it's odd she didn't revive him).
For me it would be better to have more 100 point weapons. The last arc could have simply shown off different devices rather than have every character use them.
