Well here i am again, a mugging and a death in the family stalled me by a month but i still am here. SO here we go, but the topic has changed...to HAWAII!
So first question, who has actually been to hawaii? *counts hands*
Okay, so Hawaii isn't what it used to be. Several things have been affecting us. first our state has made some not so bright moves on selecting government officals. Some are good, and sme i actually are friends with, but besides that, no, we are not in a good posiotion for money managment.
TWO, hawaii is turning into the mainland. We call the 50 states the mainland since you mainly are a goods provider. Anyway, too many tourists have been selling their houses and move to hawaii. Some people here are fine, but some people who move here act like they own us. Bastards!
Third, hawaii needs something more original, since we are losing the culture we once had. No more real asian, portugese, hawaiian, african american, etc is really left, only eateries. And the problem is a long list.
1.kid gets born in poor/crappy family 2.thinks gangastas are everying. 3.fails school,no collage 4.homeless.
sometihng like that, but many people are just failing at life, some actually have bad luck, but others, they could have helped themselves.
hand cramp owwwww!
drugs are a problem too
anywhay, hawaii is still a good green place to live bu sometimes it just pisses me off.
lastly, WE DO NOT LIVE IN FUCKING GRASS HUTS. IF SOMEONE SAYS THAT AGAIN, I WILL HUNT ThEM DOWN!
Aloha and Mahalo everyone.

It must be nice to live in tropical weather though right? I know you're talking about the people, but I've never been to Hawaii. TV is my only real gateway to the place. From forgetting sarah marshall to 50 first dates. Looks like a nice place to me. But I know in real life every place has problems.
I still find it really cool that you live there though. I live in Canada and our winters suck ass.

Ok, my turn to post. Honestly, I give up on politics since most of the time the politicians get virtually NOTHING done, or sit there and bitch about it. I'm not saying they don't get things done, it's just unlikely in the U.S. Weather in Hawaii is either super sunny or random rainfall that comes out of nowhere. Drugs are a pretty big thing, but drinking is worse in ways, since getting drunk can kill you AND other people. But other then that the locals, and I mean people who were born here, are usually really cool. Tourists just need to remember, they're visiting, so respect the aina. It is a beautiful place to live though.

Eh, I plan on moving during college. It's not that Hawaii is bad. To me, it's just getting boring. I need a change of spots, and a much more flexible weather. Perhaps I'll change my mind after I finish college. Perhaps I just need to get a car and go exploring. Perhaps I got it better than I think, and don't realize it. All I know is that when I visit other places, theres a sort of bewilderment that Hawaii just doesn't fill.

I like Hawaii. If I was to leave, I'd miss the only character I'm interacting with. Also, I like my own character.
