What do you think. For myself I believe it was Uncharted 2.

I have to give it to Modern Warfare 2 even though it just released in November... with Left 4 Dead 2 and Borderlands coming in second and third.
Though I must say, it was a pretty uninteresting year altogether. There were a lot of good games but not a lot of GREAT games. Unlike 2008 in which we got a great game like every month.
Still haven't played Uncharted 2 though but I hear nothing but good things about it.

Hate me for saying this. As I have a fetish for fighting games. But Naruto Clash of Ninja revo 3. LOL I think Mundus is the only person here who would agree with me.
To apeal to the populous I'll say Left 4 Dead 2 and Modern Warfare 2. Baller may hate me more but I also liked Halo 3 ODST.
But
#1 Batman Arkham Asylum

Borderlands for me since I haven't played MW2 but eitherway I'm sure MW2 isn't as memorable.
And...imo Uncharted 2 is crap.

Dragon Age: Origins is the only game this year that really hooked me.
