(Well here it is. The First mission. I hope you guys don't mind the small amount of people but it doesn't look like many were interested sooooo, this is the best I can do for now. Have fun, survive/die, just remember, it's a game ) Italy is a land of many things, beauty, history and in one special apartment, inhabited by a special black ball, the dead. The apartment was impossible to enter or leave unless the black ball permitted it and it never permitted anyone in unless it truly wanted them there. The small commode overlooked a small pond and had anyone truly LIVED there, it would be a breath taking view. Suddenly, the Black ball emitted a laser beam that flashed all colors, from Red to blue and back it continued to move, stopping in the middle of the room, drawing out the form of a human and thus creating the form of one Mr. Aldo Marino who looked absolutely horrified to be back in the strange apartment. Aldo crashed to his knees, cradling his face, last time, he had barely survived all alone. How was he going to do it this time? Then, like an answer to his prayer the beam shot out once more, this time drawing out the form of Valeria Alberti. Whole and undamaged, it appeared that the woman's attempt at suicide had failed, or had it? Before Aldo could even comprehend that someone else had also been chosen to come to the apartment the beam was back at it again, this time bringing the Mario Raine, though his body had been horribly wrecked after the car crash, it seemed to be in perfect shape now. Rosa Giachetta was next to be invited to the room, whether she wanted it or not. The blast from her OWN apartment had left what pieces remained of her looking like burnt scraps of baloney but he beam seemed to fix all of that and like the rest, she was within the apartment to stay, for now. Finally, with the addition of Dante Aurabello, the new Italy Gantz Team had been completed. Whether they knew it or not, they were stuck together to suffer and die, or strive for life. It was up to them, the black ball had done it's job for now. It would do the rest in a moment, but for now, it waited doing nothing and just sitting there.

She curses God as she weeps, recognizing the thing which was her husband, lying on the couch after a gruesome vandalism.
She curses God as she descends the stairs of the floor where she found him, to search for her shopping bag.
She curses God as she locates it, and draws out the long knife which glistens in the light of the moon.
She curses God as a numbing and burning sensation passes through her arm when the blade penetrates it, allowing the wine-like fluids to seep between and upon it and her fair skin, and onto her clothes.
She curses God as, dizzied from this, her body falls without cushioning to the floor, a hand subconsciously reaching forth and grabbing her handbag resting on the counter. The fluids flow through the crevices of the white tiles.
As her vision blurs and darkens, leaving only a memory of her greatest love and comfort, and in spite of realizing her actions were a reckless, emotion-driven mistake which would not return him, but end her own life, she curses God.
But she accepts her fate as her thoughts and perceptions begin to cease, for instead of Heaven or Hell, she simply assumes that there is only an end which would release her from this sadness, as in her mind and her last moments God no longer exists.
—But! In the next instant, there is light around her, a smooth hardness below, and there is, somewhere/now/perhaps, a distinct humming from a light bulb above, or perhaps an air conditioner, and the breathing and movement of another occupant. There is no numbing, no burning, no moistness from the arm, no blood upon her clothes or the knife in her hand, but there is a little weight from it and the strap of her handbag. She realizes she is in a completely different room than what she had been the instant before, and slowly and cautiously rises, the traces of despair removing themselves in replacement of ambivalence. Sitting up, she quietly observes, wondering what had happened to her, and ignores the beautiful view beside her.
Soon, a visible, multi-coloured laser originating from what she soon caught to be a giant black ball is emitted, gradually forming a man who looks very much like Vin Diesel, but yet, is not quite him. He also seems to be in good condition, as he is quite fit and uninjured. A second laser appears right after the first has done its business, creating a tomboyish-appearing young woman with a cigarette and a lighter. A third appears after the second, materializing a blond man wearing a suit. No other lasers appear after he enters the room. It would appear that all the occupants have arrived, and they all, like the man who appeared after her, are in what may be their best physical condition.
But for what reason is this happening? Given an opportunity to think now, she ponders this: In her own kitchen, she committed suicide in grievance of her husband’s death. Though the sensations themselves have long faded, the imprints they left in her memory are still strong. She also touched the corpse of Giuseppe, felt his lack of a pulse, and could smell the first signs of decay on him. It was much too elaborate and too sudden for a mere hallucination, and her suicide was real, also. But then, what is she doing here? Shouldn’t she be dead—or, perhaps, is she, already? Could there be an afterlife, or did she miraculously survive her clear attempt?
“What is going on?” she whispers, with clear confusion and worry.

Aldo couldn't believe his eyes, four, FOUR other people were here to help him. Help him survive. The thought caused his eyes to sting, tears filling up the space in front of his peepers and slowly making their way down his face. Aldo wanted to cry passionately but he knew he couldn't, as the most experienced, it would look bad. So, steeling himself both emotionally and mentally Aldo opened his mouth to explain the situation. However, as if intending to rob him of the chance, the black ball erupted into a song. A rather annoying song but still a unique one. It began to play opera. And as the music played the black ball's surface began to bear letters. Strange letters, some words misspelled utilizing these letters but for the most part, the message was clear. It read "yOUR liveZ h@v3 en&3D. HoW u l!v3 YOUR n3w liVeZ is ENTIRELY uP 2 M3. Th@tz TH3 th3oRY, N3WAyZ. When the woman asked about what was occurring Aldo calmed down slightly. "I'm Aldo Marino. Please calm down, I'll do my best to explain" he muttered to the woman, flashing her what he hoped was a confident smile but came off as more of a kid who was biting back tears. With that, the black balls words were gone and were replaced with the picture of a series of creatures with rather strange appearances and even stranger likes and dislikes, apparently. G0 0u7 and m355 7his guy 0p.

Quote:"F***ing Humans" And as the seconds rolled by, Aldo nervous as he read those dreaded words himself, the black ball erupted outwards. Both the left and right side of the ball extending outwards to reveal a row of strange weaponry and a number of suitcases with rather unique nicknames upon them. If anyone cared to look, there seemed to be a pale man inside the black ball, asleep, knees to chest and breathing from some sort of mask. "Ummm. I'm sorry but you must listen" Aldo shouted, he needed to make them understand. He HAD to have them understand. "Please, I know this may sound crazy but.." Aldo paused, trying to find the words to describe what he wanted to say. "Well you see, this strange ball just gave us a target. And we have to use those" At that point in his explanation Aldo pointed at the weapons and suitcases within the racks of the black ball "To defeat our target. We are given a time limit and if we fail then we are brought back here. Assuming we succeed" Aldo took a deep breath, he was nervous which was taking away from his ability to speak without shaking physically. "We will be rewarded a certain number of points. You should recognize your suitcase, it will have a, well an insult that you will more than likely relate to. Once you get 100 points you are given the choice to leave or get a stronger weapon or revive one of the dead. So, um, please pick up your suitcases and get ready" Aldo finally finished, his explanation hadn't been perfect, in fact it had been abysmal in his eyes but he was hoping he had done enough to help the newcomers survive, he would need them if he wanted to stay sane. Valeria knows that she had spoken rather softly then, but is somewhat annoyed when none of the others, including the man who was here before she was, do not answer her. Then again, she does not hold this against the others, for many seem as confused as she is. She sighs, and makes herself more comfortable on the floor, and is caught surprised enough to yelp when the black ball beside her sounds a strange song she has never heard before. As the music changes itself to a more orchestrated tone, she sees odd symbols upon the face of the ball, and she looks closely at them, noticing them to be traditional Roman letters and modern symbols, composed in the form of what she notes to be an annoying adolescent poster’s “1337 speak”. But in spite of their annoying setup, she is able to translate the words almost instantaneously:
“Your lives have ended. How you live your new lives is entirely up to me. That’s the theory, anyway.”
“What,” says Valeria, letting the irritation from her confusion show in her voice, “is this ball saying?”
Just as she says this, the man who was here before her approaches.
"I'm Aldo Marino. Please calm down; I'll do my best to explain."
He is clearly attempting to be calm, and even knows about the events transpiring—this is something she is alerted to as she hears this. Unfortunately, his attempt at confidence does not appease her irritation greatly, despite that she is relieved about there being someone who knows what is happening.
She rises to her full (albeit clearly shorter) height to confront the man who is named Aldo, but before she can speak, she is also interrupted by and compelled to read the words of the black ball, which along with a picture and a sparse description of this picture, only says in its juvenile writing, “Go out and mess this guy up.”
As this happens, the ball protrudes parts of itself, like a Siamese fighting fish flaring its gills at a rival, showing a series of contents, mostly yellow suitcases and weapons, clearly to serve the purpose of “messing that guy up.”
She turns back to look at Aldo.
"Ummm. I'm sorry but you must listen," he says, quickly losing the confidence he had feigned, but desperate to talk. "Please, I know this may sound crazy but..."
He pauses.
“Well?” interrogates Valeria, not caring to show patience.
As Aldo explains, she listens without interruption. She is disappointed to not learn the reasoning behind their appearance here, but she understands most of what he says: They are here now, to obey the black ball’s orders to kill a “target”. The reason why is not certain. But if they succeed, they are rewarded with “Points”, and if they reach a certain amount, they are rewarded in a few ways. The most effective way to do these tasks is to use the tools the black ball offers.
However, she knows now what had happened. She did die through committing suicide in dismay of the loss of her husband. It was no hallucination. And yet, she does not know if her death was real—it is impossible for her now to know if this is real. Perhaps her husband did die in the vandalism, and it caused her to become insane enough to hallucinate her own death, and now this. Nothing that is happening is certain now, not for her. Perhaps she is simply in a hospital now, one for mental patients, or an interrogation ward, and she is dreaming. She does not know.
Therefore, she has no choice but to play along with this for now, and think this over. She approaches the black ball, searches the weapons and suitcases. One strikes her attention, and it is named “Gucci”.
“Gucci”? That Gucci?
Yes, “Gucci”, that one. She does not understand how, but her gut instinct tells her it must be hers (even if she has little to do with the company), and she picks it up and opens it, revealing a folded, smooth, black thing resembling a bodysuit. It has golden nodes at the joints and various other places, but their purpose, if there is one, is unclear. It is apparent that she is to wear this, but why is unclear. She closes the case, and picks out what looks like two bulky, toy-esque handguns, and a rectangular piece of technology that seems to be wearable on the wrist. As she does not want to be responsible for too much until she understands better, this is sufficient for her.
But before she decides to pick out a room, announce it as the women’s and defend it in the case of a Peeping Tom, and put on the suit and her own clothes over them, she turns back to Aldo—
“Did you say that the dead can be revived?” she asks, no longer irritated in the tone of her voice—more like a small strain of hope had come to replace it. “Who all—does this apply to? Can it be anyone?”

Mario just gave the man explaining a piercing look. Standing up and flexing the back muscles and ribs that should have been crushed to dust minutes ago, Mario stripped off his shirt and strutted over toward the ball. His muscular biceps glistened in the light as he took out his case.
"Steroids" was on it. He always was super strong. He always was ripped. Guys hated him, girls...well....girls thought he was hot, but also was an ass. Mario couldn't help it, it came naturally. He couldn't lie, he couldn't act better than himself, only worse. He wondered on how he managed to sink low enough to be killed over a mob debt for a nice car.
Opening the case in front of everyone, and picking out the suit while the case fell to the floor, Mario's mouth was a tad bit a gap with one eyebrow risen. "Ain't this a bitch?" escaped his lips as he dropped his pants in public and quickly put his suit on. He didn't care if people saw his person. He was ripped with barely any body fat and....just wow.
With the suit securly on, he then took a odd circular gun from the rack and put it in one holster. The next gun he took was a gun with 3 barrels. He put it in his other suit holster. Lastly, he noticed the rack of controllers and took one. He attached it to his wrist and sat back down, cracking his knuckles.

(I think we've waited well past a reasonable point for the others to post. Guess they're just gonna have to die. Oh Well. I suggest you run if I teleported you without a suit, consider it your punishment.) Aldo was more than a little distracted as he stared at the man who had stripped naked. Frowning, he continued to mull over what had just occurred. "So, I tell these guys to do stuff and they do it?" Aldo thought, surely the people weren't that submissive. But his thoughts were cut short as the woman asked him a question involving the hundred points. His frown deepening, Aldo opened his mouth, and then shut it, not sure what to say. Finally, he decided on an answer. "I think it only applies to those who appear within this room, madam. You can probably check for yo" but before Aldo could finish his proposal another beam of rainbow flashing light hit the young woman who had been standing perfectly still, Rosa Giachetta. As she was teleported away Aldo reacted, grabbing hold of all two of the suitcases, the ones that did not belong to the woman who had asked him about the revival of people utilizing Gantz and the man who seemed ready to strip without any real reason. One dropped from his fingers before he could hand it off and the girl was finished teleporting. Cursing under his breath he watched, helpless as another of the amateur hunters was teleported away, this time, the man who had just put on his suit, Mario Raine. As seconds whittle down till Mario was fully teleported Aldo returned his attention to the woman in front of him. "Please, do not worry about being seen. You won't be seen by anyone but me or that man. If we are even near you. If you do not put your suit on, you will die. Please just" But as Aldo spoke he was aware of being teleported somewhere where his scalp felt cold as wind whipped around it. And then his mouth was there was well, cutting him off. Next came Valeria Alberti and finally, Dante Aurabello. ************ Valeria Alberti and Mario Raine (2 Battle Aliens)Mario, who arrived roughly fifteen seconds before Valeria would be left alone to face on the duo of Battle Aliens, both stood, backs to the hunters arrival point, axes held at a relaxed angle. The Hunters and Aliens stood in a forsaken neighborhood street. Numerous 3 story apartment buildings surrounding them, boarded windows, a broken street lamp that illuminated the Aliens but flickered horribly and no other working light source, truly a forsaken area. Unbeknown to our Hunters, the neighborhood was set to be demolished for a newer neighborhood tomorrow morning. Dante Aurebello, Rosa Giachette and Aldo Marino (6 Battle Aliens) Dante Aurebello, Rosa Giachette and Aldo Marino found themselves teleported within the same forsaken Neighborhood, though they were not out in the street. They found themselves within different points of a broken down 1 story Grocery Store. Dante was teleported within the Meat section, where three Battle Aliens were busy discussing things in their strange hiss like language. Rosa was teleported on the roof of the Grocery Store, right in front of two battle Aliens who watched her teleportation with great curiosity. Aldo was teleported in the storage room of the Grocery Store, with only one Battle Alien, who was sleeping on the bed in the room fulled with empty boxes. With him were the two suitcases, one for Dante Aurebello and one for Rosa Giachetta. Not making a sound, Aldo stood in the darkness of the room, hearing the breathing of the creature and holding his own breath, scared of arousing it.

She knows her question, somehow, will not give her an answer she will want to hear exactly, but feels deeply disappointed when she observes his face, which is either unsure what to say, or knows, but is hesitant because it will be the same for him. She lowers her head, closing her eyes as he speaks, fighting back tears she thought she expended. However, this changes as she becomes distracted by Aldo’s sudden interruption, and raises her head to observe the younger woman being...“erased”... by the same prismatic laser which brought them here just minutes ago.
Aldo attempts to hand her one of the suitcases from the black ball, fails, and clearly remorseful of it. As he does this, the other man who had suddenly and shockingly stripped before the team (to which she quickly looked away in embarrassment) is suddenly meeting the same circumstances.
“Is this part of the…‘manhunt’?” she asks, almost without expecting an answer.
Aldo turns back to Valeria and speaks again:
"Please, do not worry about being seen. You won't be seen by anyone but me or that man. If we are even near you. If you do not put your suit on, you will die. Please just—"
But he is cut short again, with the laser this time laying itself upon him.
She watches as the laser “erases” him, also, judging the time. It will not be enough for her to put on the suit, even if the blond man were to be next.
Therefore, she apprehensively waits, and shudders slightly when the laser envelops back and forth and around her.
—Suddenly, the image of an abandoned city district appears before her, not one she was familiar with. A dying lamp post just barely illuminates a pair of grotesque figures directly before them, not aware of their presence, but certainly armed for the occasion that they would be. Everything about them, from their insouciant composures to the axes which lay on their backs, is gigantic, inhuman. It will be impossible to put on the suit now. She is only armed with the rectangular thing which can be worn on her wrist, and the two black guns.
Valeria stops cold where she stands. She thinks to herself, ‘Am I going to be dying so soon?’
A part of her consciousness shakes its head. ‘So late,’ it says. Unfortunately, the rest of her agrees.
But Valeria does not want to die. Something within her mind is disconcerted, deeply.
That man, Aldo, only ‘thinks’ that reviving the dead only applies to those who enter the room. ‘Thinks’. He is not ‘certain’.
Therefore, there may be a chance that Giuseppe can still be saved. Until she confirms this, Valeria does not wish to die. She will not allow it.
Though she is deeply afraid, she raises the guns to the direction of one of the aliens without a word, eyes blazing. She notices there are two triggers, and she presses each of the ones on the bottom.
It reveals on the backs of the guns what appears to be an X-Ray sight, revealing the skeletal composition of the alien she has targeted—
Skeletal composition? Is this alien alive?
She inwardly berates herself for being surprised, but at the same time, she cannot help this. Up to this point, she has assumed the aliens to be mere entities which existed for whatever purpose the black ball wanted—like NPCs of a video game. Perhaps this was still the case. But she now cannot help but be more hesitant on attacking the things, even more so if they were sentient. But...
This cannot stop Valeria. She has already made her mind—she will earn the one-hundred points necessary to revive the dead. She will survive, at least up to that point. If this means she must kill other living things to accomplish this, so be it. It is no different from how a butcher slays livestock to feed his family, and others.
She will play this game, regardless of the consequences.
Deciding that the top triggers must be used for firing, Valeria presses them down also, aiming for the leftmost alien’s head with both guns.

Mario looked at his new surroundings. As if the room wasn't weird enough he suddenly found himself in a grungy neighborhood. He briefly looked around and noticed that Valeria was in the same area that he was. However, apparently she wasn't the only thing. Squinting in the dim flickery light, he noticed two figures of those....aliens. Before he could move an inch closer, Valeria already began to fire. The gun snapped open and emitted a hum and weak glow. Eyes shooting wide open, he did nothing but wait in anticipation for those things to do...something.
