Cool beans for the Osaka novel, but this chapter wasn't as emotional as I thought it'd be, but it did remind me of why I loved Gantz Phase I. Things are starting to get better ;__;

Lmao. So I guess Kurono and Tae crying and running toward each other after every other mission is what Renan liked about phase 1. = / Anyway, decent chapter. I was expecting Tae's death, but I guess him trying to rescue her will forward the plot a bit. There's nothing cliche about that at all, though. Not to mention how retarded it was to let the Gantz players just go free and in separate places to boot. "Yeah, we'll call you back when we need you again, but for now you can just all leave and go out into the open alone and have a great chance of being killed. Instead of staying here. And we won't explain anything to you at all, either." When they go to call them back, the numbers are sure to have dwindled. Unless they can transfer Gantz players from around the world. Then I can see how they would be cocky about it and let them free, as if to say "they are all expendable." Still, it is retarded because Gantz players around the world are just as likely to be killed as the ones in Tokyo. >_> Oh, and a Osaka novel would be hot, but I don't think it is being written by Oku. Also, this will probably screw any chance of a manga for Osaka. >:/

^ a Novels better than nothing though.
I like how the cover of Gantz 28 and Gantz Minus link up together, I can't wait until Dark horse gets that far. Don't fuck with mustache man GP'ers he don't give a shit what you want and where you want to be transfered. Not like anyone else did anything that mission. lol
And I also thought TAE CHAAAAAAAANN!!!! was going to die too. Her poor mom and classmates.

By saying it remidns me of why I loved Phase I was how I actually thought Tae would die and it was moments like these when the characters I liked actually survived which made the missions much more intense, because the more they survive the shorter their survival chance becomes. Also the drama. Phase III had enough drama in this chapter for me to forgive it.

made the missions much more intense, because the more they survive the shorter their survival chance becomes. the more they survive the shorter their survival chance becomes. more survive shorter survival chance. lol-wut. So the more a character survives, the less chance they have of surviving? Yeah, and what would happen if they just didn't survive? How great would their chances be then? lmao. You make it sound like it makes a difference. If they survive, then they live on. If they die, then they die. Surviving doesn't increase your chance of dying. Because the opposite of surviving would simply be dying. That's like saying eating an orange increases your chances of not eating an orange. I get what you're saying about the drama part, however, this entire invasion has been dramatic. Anyone could have died, anywhere, anytime. Wayyy before this chapter with Tae happened. Honestly, man. I mean, Nishi hasn't even been seen. I'm starting to fear for his health right about now. Maybe he was captured. This whole arc is pretty intense if you ask me. I mean, everything about it only implies one conclusion: death for all of the Gantz participants. Plus this chapter brought up a contradiction in the plot: the transfer thing. It seems that when Sakurai was transferred back with his arm in tact, he remembered fully getting it cut off, meaning that theory about Gantz copying an older version to heal was wrong. However, if this is the case, then why have all those memory losses whenever Gantz transferred back someone with missing limbs? This chapter actually introduced a plot hole. Great. Edit: Here, made this for you, lol.

It's not a plot hole. It's been going on for so long now that you should have gotten used to it. The last memory loss was in the Buhdda mission.
My idea is that Gantz just got better at transfering and sometimes he makes mistakes.

It's not a plot hole. It's been going on for so long now that you should have gotten used to it. What's been going on for so long? My idea is that Gantz just got better at transferring and sometimes he makes mistakes. Every other time someone lost their memory, they also had lost a limb. This has always been the trend. Except this time. This time Sakurai specifically remembered getting his arm cut off. It doesn't make any sense for Gantz to make a "mistake" only whenever someone loses a limb. The only other time would be the one when Kurono fought the boss Tanaka. But that seems more like the mistake on Gantz's part. Since Kurono didn't lose any limbs. It's too much of a coincidence. The trend is blatantly put right there in front of you.

Whats been going on for so long? Gantz healing while still giving them the memories.
It happened in italy with kurono.
But that was only during the early missions. After a while Gantz got it right. I'm sure at first Oku wanted to show that Gantz makes mistakes. But now after the series has gone on for so long he wants us to see that Gantz is more efficient.
Like healing right and accurate may also be because of those Gantzers controlling the gantz balls themselves. Gantz doesn't run the shots anymore. If you look at it that way, it's not a plot hole at all.

Whats been going on for so long? Gantz healing while still giving them the memories. It happened in italy with kurono. Two things; 1, all Kurono said was "I'm alive?" Which is very ambiguous and vague. It doesn't necessarily imply that he remembered getting ripped in half. If I was in a mission with crazy statues going around and killing everything with just their touch, and then suddenly I blanked out and woke up in the room, I might ask that very same rhetorical question. 2, Even if that thing with Kurono was true, and he did remember, I wouldn't call that "happening for so long." Because, it's not. That would actually be the first time that's ever happened, until Sakurai. But that was only during the early missions. After a while Gantz got it right. I'm sure at first Oku wanted to show that Gantz makes mistakes. But now after the series has gone on for so long he wants us to see that Gantz is more efficient. Like I said, that would be a ridiculous amount of mistakes and a ridiculous coincidence. Like healing right and accurate may also be because of those Gantzers controlling the gantz balls themselves. Gantz doesn't run the shots anymore. If you look at it that way, it's not a plot hole at all. Well yeah, you can always come up with some bullshit way to explain plot holes. All you have to do is fill in the hole. I could just say that they updated Gantz's technology so it can now heal wounds without having to have an older copy. We're just making shit up. Until we know for sure, or have a very very strong logical reason to think so, it'll be a plot hole. Because that's what a plot hole is; something unexplained or too vague in the plot, that goes against the flow of logic in the story. So far, the flow of logic has been everyone who lost a limb, also looses their memory from when they lost their limb and above. Wouldn't you say that Kurono (still, vague) or Sakurai, both of which happened in fairly new chapters, loosing a limb but still remembering loosing said limb an unexplained hole in the plot that goes against the current logic of always loosing memory along with your limbs? Definitely.

This is where Kurono got fucked: At this point hes still alive: Here he most likely died, but since Gantz was all glitchy...: Notice how he was transferred in: And then hes confused here:

Ha ha. I know, Dawg, I referenced the chapter before I even decided to say anything about it. Guiz. Stop ruining Gantz. kthnxbai lol. Well, you seemed to be doing your own little "make Gantz suck" routine for a while now. "Gantz phase three sucks! No plot! Habidihibidi;qwebwgln!!!"
