Yeah i think so too, because the filler isn't original to the story, yet it's more like a distraction to buy sometime so we don't catch up to the original story.

Animes don't always have filler and some filler is really good. Bleach's filler is better than it's original work. Also the Gantz filler wasn't bad per say, but it was something else. Also the majority of FMA season 1 is filler done right, same with Black Cat to the point where it's not filler anymore.

To me most manga are better. Unlike certain anime like TTGL where the anime came first. But I enjoy manga more than anime. And anime has to be real good for me to peak interest.

The only filler I couldn't stand to watch is Naruto filler.

basically same as ren said. sometimes the anime isn't filler but almost like another alternate universe where things happen slightly differently, sometimes as an interesting change of pace. i didn't mind the gantz filler THAT much.

This is like asking if movies are better than books.
I prefer anime, because I hardly ever read manga. I also think much more work is put into Animes than in Mangas, in which motivates me to flock to them more.

Mangas. Simply because I like to read and Mangas can hold my attention.

i like both equally. Anime is useful , when i dont feel like reading. Manga has more ...plot.
and its interesting watching both ways.
i just cant stand subtitles.

To be honest I love subtitles. They seem to capture more feeling, but sometimes you'll be lucky to find a REALLY good dub or two. Take "Beck" for example. The dubbing in that was simply amazing.
