She was my all time favourite character and she had soooooooooooooooooooo much potential, and to kill her off and not bring her back...well it just grinds my gears. I mean she was an extremely intresting character with a fairly decent back story. She was good at using the Gantz suit, good at using the guns and a great close range fighter. She was loyal and determined to help and save people...."tear". If I could ask the man in charge to do me one favour, I would ask him to bring her back. But I know this would not happened as he would have to bring Kishimoto back first (unless she is already back in EXA???), and this would cause more love rival's for Kurono. Sigh. I just can't tell you how feirce she was and to die on her first mission with no one to bring her back (I understand that alot of great characters were killed off in that mission, but it just sucks) and there are probably alot of you that would disagree. But when I saw her die, I actually became genuinely upset. Sigh...R.I.P. Sei

I liked sei too. lol im surprised fayrra hasnt answered this topic. She took kuronos virginity and I think when she died Oku wanted it to be climactic like that, back when he let all the main characters die. Leaving us wanting more.
If it werent for her taking out the statues regeration ability, katou wouldnt have won and kurono would have died aswell. So basically she saved everyone up to that point onward, so she did have a big impact overall. She was also Oku's rendition of lara croft.
one question.. do you think shes stronger than kill bill or reika?

As in is she stronger when she was in it or would she be stronger now after the training and experience.
Well either way I think she is stronger then Reika...dont get me wrong I like Reika but I think Sei can/could hold her own better. As for Kill Bill I think she would be weaker (only by a little bit) before she died, but she would be that much stronger if she had lived and gained the experience. I think she would of been a female Kurono.

As in is she stronger when she was in it This is what he's talking about. Well either way I think she is stronger then Reika...dont get me wrong I like Reika but I think Sei can/could hold her own better. Exactly what has Sei done to make you think she's stronger than Reika? Reika took on more than 5+ acid spewing Oni-aliens at the same time, where it would only take one splash to kill her, and survived the Italian mission with what seemed like ease. Signifying intelligence, agility, and good aim. Sei took on the Buddha Boss and got him to half health. Signifying good agility, strength, and hand to hand combat. As you can see, neither is really stronger than the other, based on the info we have. Also, I loved Sei Sakuraoka. A bit of a potential whore considering how quickly she agreed to sex, but really awesome, and had amazing potential. As for Kill Bill I think she would be weaker (only by a little bit) before she died Exactly what has Kill Bill done to make you think that?

First....I don't know how to quote people on here lol.
Secondly I agree that Reika has alot of potential like Sei. But Reika was only that good due to the amount of experience she had. But with Sei she was already kick ass from the start, granted she died but she did the most damage to one of the hardest bosses in Gantz by herself.
I mean if you compare both of their first/only mission and check to see who the most useful was she would be the clear winner. Also if she had all the experience from that point and to where Reika is now she would be like a female Kurono.
As I also said that I believe Sei would beat Kill Bill, but like I said as well that if she never had the experience Kill Bill would win. But if she had the experience and fought Kill Bill she would win, I think she would just win, but win none the less.
These are my opinions only and I'm not trying to besmearch other characters and im not trying to say i'm right and your all wrong.
That is all. lol

First....I don't know how to quote people on here lol. After you pick quote in the upper right corner you'll see something like [ quote author ...etc. at the beginning of my sentence in the typing word box. Then you'll see something like [ / quote...etc. at the end of all of the words I typed. You just copy and paste those two at the beginning and at the end of each bunch of words that you want to quote, respectively. That's how you multiquote, like I am. I agree with that. However, you said "either way" Sei would beat Reika, not just if Reika didn't have experience or if Sei did have experience. Meaning Sei without Exp would beat Reika with it. but like I said as well that if she never had the experience Kill Bill would win. lol. And I asked why you think that, considering the fact that Kill Bill has done almost virtually nothing to show her abilities. These are my opinions only and I'm not trying to besmearch other characters and im not trying to say i'm right and your all wrong. That is all. lol XD. I'm just wondering about the logic behind it, as in, what makes you think that Sei-without-any-extra-experience could beat Reika or that Kill Bill could beat Sei-without-any-extra-experience. Why you have that opinion, etc.

I agree with that. However, you said "either way" Sei would beat Reika, not just if Reika didn't have experience or if Sei did have experience. Meaning Sei without Exp would beat Reika with it. By this I meant that I feel Sei with no exp would beat Reika with no exp, and Sei with exp could beat Reika with exp. lol. And I asked why you think that, considering the fact that Kill Bill has done almost virtually nothing to show her abilities Thats the thing Kill Bill has been rather useless and another pair of breasts to look at, I mean she was useless against the Boss Aliens in Osaka. and I still cant get this quote thing to work...doh

Ah, good old Sei. She's one of my favorite characters. Sure, I can understand Kurono not wanting to bring Kishimoto back, since the original one was still running around and that could complicate things, but if I were in Kurono's place I would have definitely brought Sei back instead of Nishi. Considering that Nishi is another of my favorite characters, that's saying something.
Thematically and plot-wise, though, I think it's best for Sei to stay dead. Oku had to kill off likeable characters for the near-Total Party Kill in the Buddha mission to have any real impact. Sei wouldn't be the same if she weren't such a tragic character.
