343Holy fuck... The chapter started out slow. More Tae-chan running around narrowly avoiding death as always. Shes become the luckiest character in this manga! Even Kei gets hurt more than she... But I guess that arrow thing through her leg counts as something?
What the flying hell were those aliens!? They seemed to be some cult like aliens? For some reason they didn't scream dangerous to me now that giant mutant alien at the end. But we'll see what happens next time..

agreed....yawn. I want good old Gantz back. I feel there just trying to take it down a new inter-galactic avenue that the audience is just not accepting.

It's working fine for me. I like the stuff that is happening to the Earth right now (at the risk of sounding like a psychopath). And how there's no immediate end in sight.
The only thing I don't like right now is how this Tae thing is being handled.
At first I was like, okay, cool, this is screwed up, they're separated and both of them are in danger of dying, etc.
But holy shit, either kill her, or stop showing her get extremely lucky. Which doesn't actually mean you have to kill her. Having her finally found by Kei, for instance, or in a Gantz suit would throw out a lot of the improbabilities that she constantly overcomes for only one improbability.

Fay heres something. Say you are a seasoned Gantzer with a girlfriend. Suddenly, the Earth is completely invaded in less than a day and you become separated from your girlfriend. You know shes inside this gigantic alien spacecraft and you KNOW, ABSOLUTELY KNOW, its practically impossible to find her. Would you keep looking for her? Hoping she somehow avoided all the dangers of the unknown?

Yeah, I would look for her still. Giving up doesn't really help, in fact, it's pretty much the only way to insure I won't find her (nothing's ever for sure, but you get the point)
Though, it really depends.
There's three different scenarios.
1.) If she does not want me to look for her. If she literally told me, 'do not look for me, blah blah blah,' and I had other things that required my attention. Like trying to protect ALL my family and ALL my friends and stuff, then I would respect her wish.
2.) If she does not want me to look for her, but I had nothing else to do other than defend myself, then I would try to not look for her, but I can't really help it if I find her. Since I would naturally (regardless of whether or not she is alive or dead or regardless of whether she even existed), go and fight them at their home base. Since that's the place they won't nuke. If I find her, then I find her (haha, take that, girlfriend of mine).
3.) If she wants me to look for her, or doesn't tell me not to, then yeah, I'm going to look for her. She's my woman. This holds true regardless of whether or not other things require my attention. Though it does mean it'll take me longer to get to her, since I'll be taking some people with me.
Also, if by "hoping" you mean "believing" then I would not believe she's still alive. Most likely, I would realize she is dead, which is exactly why I'm searching for her. To confirm the body, or just in case she's still alive save her. Also, also, their home base is probably a pretty safe place if you have a Gantz suit, for right now. Since they won't ever nuke their own ship. Plus it's separate from those hammerhead things.
What about you?
