As the winter season of anime starts, there is only one series that has had me watching since the first air date: Nisemonogatari (Fakestory or impostorstory)
The monogatari series follows Koyomi Araragi, a 3rd year highschool student who turned into a vampire (and turned back) over spring break. He has retained his powers as a vampire, such as strength and invulnerability. After this he discovers a world of spirits and curses, mostly surrounding women he knows, and does his best to lift them. The series is highly dialogue centered, with sharp humor and great character building. A series with a harem that actually is interesting to watch.
Plus the fight scenes are amazing, and the main couple is suprisingly well written.
The first anime and book in the series was Bakemonogatari (ghoststory). It details how Koyomi solves the issues with most of the main characters. The series is 15 episodes long, and has some of the best animation stylization i have ever seen. And its well paced too.
What started this week was Nisemonogatari (fakestory), where Koyomi's sisters get entangled with Koyomi's ghost solving harem forming. The shit really hits the fan for him. This is even better than the first series from what I can tell, and its only been the first episode. I wish the light novels were translated so i could read em.
Here is a clip from Bakemonogatari:

Watch this well done series, and for you pervs, yes it has lots of fanservice too.
