... Not sure how to react. One of my thoughts is: "Is Oku selling out? :c "

He has other interest then blood, gore and tits. Maybe he just agreed to it for the fun of it and hell, some extra cash.

The reboots will probably contain the updated "better-art" Osaka chapters as well as the specials of the Osaka arc. This also gives new-comers to the series who want to buy the manga collection containing more chapters per volume a chance to do that. Some people like their sets longer/bigger. In my experience the bigger volumes also cost less than buying the equivalent amount of normal volumes. But that could just be because they had already been out for a while and the demand was less or whatever.

The kind of guy that writes/draws Gantz wouldn't have an interest like that, would he? o.O In my experience the bigger volumes also cost less than buying the equivalent amount of normal volumes. But that could just be because they had already been out for a while and the demand was less or whatever. Yeah, it tends to be less. I remember being able to get three Rurouni Kenshin big volumes for less than the individual ones.
