Alright, remember back during the Nuri mission when Kurabawa was wearing his suit? He wasnt wearing it all the way. Does that mean that the suit doesnt protect him all the way or does it not matter how much of the suit you're wearing, it'll still protects you?

think it still protects you but the part that you wear gets the heightened abilities like strength.

lol. I'm honored that you would call me. ^_^
Anyway, there's another way that this can be approached too. See, the suit has those little power caps or whatever on them. And, I think it is possible to have one of those caps broken, while having others on (unless the neck caps pop, which is what this idea is centered upon). So, my hypothesis is, that each caps help to power certain parts of the suit. Therefore, going with this logic, arm caps power the arm, chest/back caps protect that part, so on and so forth. However, when we get to the neck caps I believe it is a little special. 1st of all, I know that they provide protection to the head. However, I think that the neck caps also provide an extra layer of protection to the overall body. As if they were the central caps. And this would explain why it protects the head even though it should (going by this logic) only protect the neck.
Now, if this theory were true then only the lower part would become stronger and/or receive protection.
But there's many holes with different parts of this hypothesis. Not to mention I'm lacking manga evidence on some parts. I mean, Kuwabara never really got hurt until Nuri did the little naked lady trick. And by that time he had his suit completely off. So it would be hard to judge.
As far as I'm concerned it either still protects his upper body but just less protection or maybe even the full protection. We know this is a given because of how the head is still protected without part of the suit. But then there is this theory, negating that:
It Doesn't protect his upper body at all (neck/cap theory).
Personally I'm leaning more towards neck/cap theory........ or I guess it is still just a hypothesis. Not like we can really do experiments to make it a theory. =/
And feel free to comment on anything I just said. And post any other ideas that you have/had.

I figured he was just that strong, badass and good. It never really occured to me. I mean he made it look so easy too. He got 100 points what? 5 times?

lol. 3 times would be it, I believe.
But maybe he got 100 points at the Italian mission? And maybe he revived Oka?!!!
Only in my dreams.
And he is a talented Gantz player, that's for sure.
